Spotlight on the MHCC at Mental Health Leaders Forum
Australia and New Zealand’s Mental Health Commissions meet
The work of the Mental Health Complaints Commissioner was highlighted at a recent meeting of Chief Executives and responsible officers from Mental Health Commissions across Australia and New Zealand.
Discussions at the Mental Health Leaders Forum focussed on improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Maori mental health, reducing seclusion and restraint, and promoting mentally healthy workplaces.
Participants were eager to learn more from the ongoing work of the MHCC to better support people to have their complaints and concerns about mental health services addressed.
